SIN is similar to what Magic: The Gathering prepared for Sunday School isn’t. We don’t believe that you should have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars every year to be competitive in other card games. We’d love you if you spent hundreds or thousands of dollars with us – but making it some kind of competitive requirement helps only to ensure that the ‘haves’ always win against the ‘have nots’.
For the gamers, we keep our regular releases in print. This will help keep you from having to spend upwards of a few bucks for any card. Collectors, we haven’t forgotten about you. Limited edition cards and releases will be available, although the cards or equivalent versions will eventually find their way into our regular releases. Limited editions of cards will be distinguishable from regular versions to boot.
SIN is a depiction of the world, both real and imagined. Currently this game is in pre-production, with over 150 cards earmarked for production in roughly 50-card decks. The game is set around the Seven Deadly Sins. Available in the pre-order going on now are only starter decks. These contain three resource cards of each Sin, plus a variety of other cards. All the cards in these decks are playable with the resources you get. Unlike some other card games, just one deck is needed to enter our tournaments. So, even if you are paying $16 retail for a deck, you don’t need to add booster packs (if available) or additional decks. Though, adding additional cards from other decks may be very beneficial if you expect to be competitive in competition.
